On February 6, 2010, the eve of the feast of the New-Martyrs and Confessors of Russia, His Grace Bishop Longin was present at the All-Night Vigil at Holy Protection Cathedral in Des Plaines, Illinois, having been invited by His Grace Bishop Peter of Cleveland, Administrator of the Diocese of Chicago and the Midwest (ROCOR).  After Vigil, Bishop Longin congratulated Bishop Peter with his Nameday in honor of New-Hieromartyr Peter of Krutitsa and wished him further successes in his God-protected Diocese.
