On Sunday, November 15th 2009, His Grace Bishop Longin served Divine Hierarchical Liturgy at St. Archangel Michael Church in Lansing, Illinois with His Eminence Metropolitan Christopher of Libertyville and Chicago, marking the parish's 100th Anniversary.  Following the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Longin awarded V. Rev. Dr. Milos Vesin, Professor of St. Sava School of Theology in Libertyville, Illinois, with a pectoral cross for his years of pastoral service and efforts in building the church and parish.  Following, a celebratory banquet was held, at which Bishop Longin awarded 10 organizations and 91 individuals with Hierarchical Gramatas of Reecognition for their dedicated service to St. Archangel Michael Church.
