Dragan Tarlac is a great benefactor of our Serbian Orthodox Church, especially Krka Monastery in the Diocese of Dalmatia where his family roots are. By the instruction of the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church, on January 8th and 9th, 2008, His Grace Bishop Longin made a visit to the Stavropegial Women's Monastery of the Nativity of the Thotokos, New Carlisle IN, in order to install the new Abbess for the monastery. 6/7 January 2008 - Christmas Eve / Christmas Day
Christmas Eve - "Badnje Vece" service was celebrated by Bishop Longin along with the rest of the New Gracanica clergy. The service was attended in great numbers, probably exceeding five hundred people. 23 December - About Kosovo Relief Fund
The New Gracanica Monastery is collecting donations for Serbian children of Kosovo. A separate charitable fund named "Kosovo Relief Fund" has been established for that purpose. The aim is to collect as much money as possible in America and Canada from people of good will for needy Serbian kids of Kosovo. The target date to finish this project is St. Sava's Day (January 27, 2008) so that help can still be distributed to Serbian kids in Kosovo during this winter. The New Gracanica Monastery will distribute all collected money to families of the neediest kids through the Diocese of Raska and Prizren....>>>

   

21 September - Memorable Weekend In Indianapolis

The dedication of our new St. Nicholas Church and fellowship hall took place September 21-23, 2007. The weekend was awesome.
